The Babi Yar Action: more than 33,000 Jews massacred by SS Einsatzgruppen at Babi Yar outside Kiev.

October 22, 1941:
The Odessa Action: more than 30,000 Jews from Odessa murdered. Many Jews were gathered into the city square, sprayed with gasoline and burned alive.

December 7, 1941:
Japanese attacked Pearl Harbor.

December 11, 1941:
Hitler declared war on the United States.
